RE News
Youth Group
Join us for Youth Group this Wed. Feb. 1, 2012 as we continue a videobased Bible study entitled Surrender. In these four challenging sessions, students share real-life stories about their own struggles and triumphs in surrendering to Christ. Francis Chan examines Scripture to show students that it is only through surrendering to God that they can become who God wants them to be. The second session is entitled “ Surrender Status.” We’ll meet from 6:30 - 8:00 p.m. in the Joe Downs Memorial Hall.

• Senior High Break-Out Session on the 2nd Wed. of the month

COTM Women's Group

Mission Statement: We celebrate our differences by cherishing, nurturing, supporting, empowering and enriching each others lives. We pray together, play together, learn together and grow together. We are the Women of Christ on the Mountain.

Women's Group plans several activities throughout the year for Christ on the Mountain parishioners (i.e., Father's Day Brunch, Women's Tea, booth at the Craft Fair, bake sales, charitable donations, spiritual education sessions with church staff, various social outings, etc.). You're invited to check us out by contacting our current President, Charlotte Deloy, at 303-986-9090 or attending one of our monthly meetings on the second Monday of the month in the lower lounge of the church at 7:00 pm.

Familia

Familia is a program based on Pope John Paul II’s writings. The Familia team at Christ on the Mountain is a group of mothers with children still at home who are striving to live their Catholic faith in everyday life with their families. The group meets on Monday evenings at the church.

This year we will be studying Mulieris Degnitatem, an encyclical by John Paul II on the Dignity and Vocation of Women. To receive more information or to join this vibrant group contact Michele Brewster at 303-989-4211 or email  Michele.brewster@comcast.net.

Women's Exercise Class at COTM
Now that Spring has sprung are you looking for a low impact exercise class? The classes are small, with most participants 60 or over in age, and there is great camaraderie as well as a moderate workout. For more information see the “Women’s Exercise” pocket on the bulletin board in the Foyer.
